MSA-DAC Research Network Launched
The "MSA-DAC Research Network" was established on November 21, 2025, with participation from multiple companies, financial institutions, and local governments, aiming to achieve the social implementation of "Moisture Swing Adsorption Direct Air Capture (MSA-DAC)", which enables low-energy carbon dioxide capture.
The Network is organized into regular members (entering into joint research contracts worth 3 million yen per year), supporting members (providing financial contributions), and special members (coordination within regions and industries).
The MSA-DAC Research Network will focus on three key themes to support energy-efficient development:
1. Optimal water and heat management for the Moisture Swing Adsorption method.
2. Optimal adsorbent materials for the Moisture Swing Adsorption method.
3. Energy efficiency through life-cycle analysis, from manufacturing to utilization.
